Air Leap has, together with SAS, entered into a letter of intent for interline cooperation in Sweden, Norway and Finland, which is expected to be launched during the first quarter of 2022. This means that you can travel with luggage on both companies’ route networks.
The interline agreement between SAS and Air Leap to be signed means that passengers can order tickets with through luggage to the final destination and means that SAS can sell tickets on Air Leap’s route network. This is something that Air Leap welcomes and views positively with an easier and smoother journey for travelers.
“We are pleased to be able to enter into this letter of intent with SAS, which is the leading player in the Scandinavian market. This is a product our customers have been asking for for a long time, as we have many who travel on to another final destination. With the agreement, we will also be able to offer SAS travelers the opportunity to fly to destinations in Sweden, Norway and Finland where SAS does not fly today, ”says Johan Giæver Marvik, Commercial Manager for Air Leap.
Air Leap’s route network today consists of routes from Stockholm Arlanda to Örnsköldsvik and Mariehamn, from Oslo Gardermoen to Röros, Örland and Stockholm Bromma and from Stockholm Bromma to Halmstad and Visby. In addition, they fly between Mariehamn and Turku. Most of the airline’s routes thus connect to SAS hubs at Arlanda and Gardermoen, where the interline cooperation will soon be used.
