THAI AIRWAYS RETURNS FLIGHTS TO PHUKET

Thai Airways sees increased demand for air travel and restarts traffic at Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Phuket. At the same time, the number of departures to the capital Bangkok for the winter is increasing.

Due to reduced traffic during the corona pandemic, Stockholm Arlanda has had limited traffic to Thailand. During the autumn and winter, however, this will change when Finnair starts flying to Bangkok and Phuket and Thai Airways resume their flights to Phuket from Stockholm.

Stockholm-Phuket has been without traffic for 18 months while Thai Airways currently flies to Bangkok twice a week. Starting on November 6, Thai Airways will resume flights to Phuket from Arlanda Airport as it sees increased demand for travel. There will be a departure a week, on Saturdays. Thai Airways will also resume the Copenhagen-Phuket route on 5 November.

Thai Airways flies mainly with Airbus A350-900 aircraft on its flights to Stockholm and Copenhagen from Thailand, but there is also traffic with Boeing 777-300ER. On the Phuket flights, the Airbus A350 is also expected to be used mainly.
